BRICS Summit Traffic Curbs Raise NDA/CDS Exam Concerns; Delhi Metro to Start at 6 AM

NDA/CDS aspirants faced concerns over BRICS Summit traffic restrictions on September 13. Delhi Police has secured an early metro service from 6 am across all lines to help candidates reach exam centres on time.

The NDA/CDS examination scheduled for September 13 amid the BRICS Summit has raised concerns among candidates over traffic restrictions expected during the event. Delhi Police has now provided major relief to aspirants, confirming that Delhi Metro services will begin at 6:00 am on all metro lines on the day of the examination.

The decision was taken after Delhi Police received concerns from candidates about reaching their examination centres on time. With traffic restrictions being imposed during the BRICS Summit, aspirants had been worried about the availability of transportation in the early morning hours.

The issue came to the attention of Delhi Police after an aspirant tagged the police in a post, saying that metro services were not available early enough to reach the examination centre on time. Taking immediate cognisance of the problem, Delhi Traffic Police spoke with the Delhi Metro Rail Corporation (DMRC) regarding arrangements for candidates appearing for the NDA/CDS examination and asked for a decision to address their concerns.

Delhi Police subsequently announced that metro services would begin at 6:00 am across all metro lines on the examination day.

Best wishes to all NDA/CDS candidates for the examination."

Young aspirants aiming to become officers in the armed forces will have to appear for the examination from 9:00 am on September 13. Candidates need to leave early to reach their examination centres, making the metro an important mode of transport as it is not affected by road traffic and can help aspirants reach their centres on time.
